Amy please add confirmed to our name for the steakhouse on the FEB 8TH cruise Thank You Can't wait to see everyone Lenore and Ernie:)

 

Was concerned with all your packing you might miss "confirming", Lenore!! Going to be such fun to have Malihinis together once again Missing you and Ernie....did you see my FB post of Dale's Diner? That was for Ernie! Jay had the meatloaf sandwich

 

 

Oh yes we saw the FB PIC --THEY WERE GREAT--Ernie opened his gift from Jay early--was going to wait for his birthday on 11/21 but with all the packing he found it.. Card will be in the mail soon thanking him from Ernie.. For those of you who don't know Ernie and I have sold our current home and are building a new one just a few miles away. The new one one story and much smaller lot--current one a 2 story and had very large yard just too much to take care of--thus our new one. Reet--will try to call soon to catch you up. The cruise will be here before we know it ..

Our Carnival TA told me 11:30am is earliest that they recommend as Customs sometimes will hold up debarkation. Our Delta flight #1589 leaves for Atlanta at 11:45am.

 

Darn, that's what I thought too. If we could fly out at 10:30 it would save us 100.00. Our flight roundrip from Chicago is 543.00!!!!!

Breezes in Nassau ..http://www.breezes.com/resorts/breezes-bahamas# they gave us, thanks to juli, a discounted rate of $40 pp since we will have a limited time there. A normal day pass ($65) allows you in from 10am to 6pm. This is what is included...

 

Our super- inclusive rates include:

 

• breakfast & lunch in a tropical terrace buffet setting

• beach grill

• pool bar & lobby bar – serving premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

• several fresh water pools that all flow into one another,towels

• misting pool and jacuzzi

• kayaks, windsurfing, & sailing, all with instruction

• flying trapeze

• rock-climbing wall

• basketball & volleyball

• 3 tennis courts

• fully equipped fitness center

• games room and activity center

• daily themed activities

#10 jitney to breezes. It is $1.25 pp. You need exact change. It takes about 15 minutes to get there & the bus makes stops along the way. The bus stop is right across from breezes.

You can also take a cab. It seems like it was about $5 pp for a group of four. We will have to take a cab back because the jitney stops running at 5pm i think.the list so far.....

POKER/CABIN CRAWL

Any more crawlers wanting to join us for the FUN.................................

 

For those that aren't sure what is involved, here is an explanation

Each cabin has a deck of cards and as the crawlers arrive they pick a card and then host cabin writes down their pick on the scorecard.

The host cabin can also participate, and sometimes they decorate or offer up some refreshments of some sort...maybe something from their hometown.

At the end,we tally up the scorecards and find the winning hands.

There will be 1st place,70%, 2nd place,20% and 3rd place 10%...also a

"boobie" prize for the worst hand ;0)

Also if you would like to crawl without offering your room, then please let me know, so I have an idea of how many scorecards/cheatsheets to make up. Now don't be shy, because anyone can play even if you don't know how...that's what the cheatsheets are for !!!!!!

WE REALLY NEED A FEW MORE CABINS......

An Aft-wrap or suite would be awesome *wink wink*

I am thinking of doing the Jost Vandyke excursion on our stop in the BVI with Amy's group. Is this a private group tour or just getting together with a regular tour and what is expected to do with this trip and what kind of cost? Truegrit
