marci22 Posted May 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2012 You can click on the 'packing list' link on her website. She also posts on the Alaska forums. There are a lot of helpful posters on the Alaska forums. http://moonprincess.com/travel/category/cruises/alaska-2010/
north29 Posted May 19, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2012 For colder than normal, or cool and potentially cold days, depend on your travel level of what you wish to do. The first travel items I hang in my packing rack, are a high quality rain coat and a fleese vest. Of course then layer or what ever makes you happy to travel with. By luck, I have been in mountain snow, cold rain etc with my first two items, long enough to wish I had more layers, but still reasonable comfortable. Some cheap gloves are also handy
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted May 19, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Think layers. Fleeces. Those waterproof trousers that have zips so they convert to long shorts. Walking boots. Thick socks. Binoculars : the highest resolution you can afford. Bug spray (not sure if needed in June)
