Alaska Packing List

We are looking for help with an "Alaska" specific packing list or your best advice on items needed for an Alaska cruise tour in June.

For colder than normal, or cool and potentially cold days, depend on your travel level of what you wish to do. The first travel items I hang in my packing rack, are a high quality rain coat and a fleese vest. Of course then layer or what ever makes you happy to travel with. By luck, I have been in mountain snow, cold rain etc with my first two items, long enough to wish I had more layers, but still reasonable comfortable. Some cheap gloves are also handy

Think layers. Fleeces. Those waterproof trousers that have zips so they convert to long shorts. Walking boots. Thick socks. Binoculars : the highest resolution you can afford. Bug spray (not sure if needed in June)
