steveholtam Posted June 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2012 I'm flying into Miami tomorrow, renting a car, and then driving straight to Orlando. Toll roads and the likes are ok. Any suggestions?
royalcruz Posted June 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Take the turnpike all the way to 528 (or 417 if you are going to the Disney area, or 4 if going to Universal area.) Select the best toll option that the rental agency has to offer. Tolls will be about $15.
JohninDC Posted June 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2012 Most rental agencies can set you up with a Sun Pass for electronic tolling -- usually and extra $2-3/day plus the costs of your tolls. It will keep you from lining up to pay tolls in cash along the way. Good luck! :)
steveholtam Posted June 15, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Thanks for the tips. The Sun Pass did make life easier. It was $6 a day though.
Orlando Vic Posted June 15, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Thanks for the tips. The Sun Pass did make life easier. It was $6 a day though. That's a bargain. It would cost >$15 on your own.
