Should we book flight from SFO or OAK?

We will have to stay overnight post cruise no matter which airport we use, so my question really is; which airport is closer to the pier in San Fran and/or most accessible? Whichever we use will require some sort of taxi or shuttle. Public transport not an option.

SFO is closer. By maybe 15 minutes, but generally easier to access.

To SFO, taxi will be close to $50. Shuttle can vary, but $20 to $25pp. Maybe a little less.
