10 more days to go!

Not sure if I can think of any questions to ask but any last minute tips is great :) [will be re-reading your review again to refresh]

We have decided to book the HCM tour which takes us to the market/lacquer factory as my main concern is to minimise walking for my mum just in case private van cannot come close to ship. Also this allows us to move around on our own and at our own pace in the afternoon before returning to the ship. Any recommendation on what to eat for lunch?

We will be doing HKG and Xiamen on our own :)

I have just completed my Legend of the Seas Borneo cruise review.

Are you back already from your Voyager trip?

We have just completed our cruise this morning and spending 1night in Shanghai before flying back tomorrow. Just read your latest review and will be trying to post my virgin review when I get home

:D

I don't think I've posted this before.

MDR staff singing 2 songs.

First was an Italian Love song - O Sole Mio.

Second was a famous Chinese song.

Given that the ship was re-positioning to China, many of the crew were Chinese. Not surprising that the Chinese song was sung more loudly than the Italian one.

When we cruised in June 2012, the new Hong Kong cruise terminal using the old Kai Tak Airport runways weren't ready.

For our overnight at Hong Kong, on the first day, the ship was anchored quite far from Hong Kong and we had to take tenders in and out. Early next morning, the ship moved to a container port.

In this video, we had taken a brief tour of Hong Kong (on our own) and we were returning to the ship. The tender, from downtown Hong Kong terminal, would take us on a beautiful ride out of the famous Hong Kong Victoria Harbour, as the sun was setting. It was a bonus for us - this cruise came with a free harbour cruise!

Sounds like you are a Royal Caribbean fan. Cool.

Haha, i dun think we have much choices here in Singapore. My colleague who went on Costa said she would not ever cruise with them even if it was free and Star Cruise doesnt get much good feedback from people i know who cruise it.

I agree, not many choices out of Singapore.

Unless you wish to fly to Europe to cruise. That's what we do.

Cost and finding company willing to fly cruise is not that easy for me.

We buy the flights and cruise separately.

We either purchase the cruise directly from the cruise company, or use a cruise specialist travel agent.

As for flights and transfer, just DIY, it is cheaper.
