Tampa Hotel

Hi everybody! Just a few questions about Tampa. We are cruising out of Tampa and are in need of a hotel recommendation near whatever terminal NCL leaves from. We are also looking for a comp. shuttle from the airport and also to the terminal. I know its a lot, but I like to plan ahead.

The downtown hotels near the port (Marriott is closest) do not offer free airport or port shuttles, but the port is only a 2 block walk and a taxi from the airport is only about $25+tip.

 

Some hotels offer free airport and port shuttles - check out these hotels located in the Rocky Point area: Holiday Inn, Tahitian Inn, Hampton Inn and Chase Suites. Good luck! :)

Do you think these hotels ever go on sale? Kind of pricey and only a couple to choose from.

 

Is this a "safe" area close to the cruise port?
