Interlocking Cabins

Hi,

 

I'm wondering what the verbage difference between "interlocking" and "connecting" cabins is?

 

I'm sailing on the Eclipse in a C1, is it just the standard connecting door between the rooms - or is there the hallway vestibule-type thing?

There's no connection/door inside the stateroom. On the S-Class ships, you have to want to connect with someone before the outside doors are reconfigured.
