amillard222 Posted September 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2012 I was just wondering if the address on the DL has to match the address that I put in the computer when doing the check in process. I dont want to get to the port and find out that it matters. My niece has a AR drivers lic. but now she lives in VA with me. Her birth cert. should be good it is one that she got when she started school. Thanks in advance!
firefly333 Posted September 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2012 I would be more worried about the birth certificate. Are you absolutely sure its a official one, not a birth record or other such. Often its embossed or similar. Thats what would stop her boarding, not the drivers license as long as it has a picture on it.
amillard222 Posted September 15, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Thanks Firefly, we are pretty sure that her BC is the right one. It is the one her mom had to send off for, not the one from the hospital. I just didnt know if the different addresses mattered.
CourtneyLovesCruising Posted September 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2012 The address on my DL is different than my boarding documents but it hasn't seemed to matter.
thomarvin Posted September 15, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2012 I see that you are not leaving for 140 days. Why doesnt she get a passport card? There is alot of back and forth on this board about these. But they are $30 and then there would be no issues. You cant fly with them (the cards) but they are easy to carry and then you know you wouldnt have any issues. I got them for my kids along with the Passport book and they came in about 3 weeks.
