Will it be dark on this NCL excusion in the caribbean?

We are going to be on the Eastern Caribbean cruise 1/9/2013 with NCL. The ship will be in San Juan from 3:00 till 9:00 pm. There is a canopy excursion as an option and I imagine that it would be more enjoyable if it is light out. Can someone tell me what time it gets dark? I believe there is no daylight savings time.
