Was interested to see the ES rates for 4 in cabin for our 4c on the Fantasy this Jan since ES rates on fareviewer are bizarre :eek: Carnival rep was Lisa & a pure tee "rearend". Fareviewer ES rates at this time are $2096, mind you a lot more than we paid. She informed me that she "had no idea what I was looking at that HER computer showed the correct price at $816". Tried to tell her that the fareviewer I was looking at said something totally different. She just didn't want to hear it. Just venting. Never before had such a rude rep !

From what I understand Carnival's website is acting up again with ES rates...:eek::eek:really? again? go figure.

 

It is showing ES rates at ridiculously high amounts. That though is no excuse for the ill mannered CS rep.

It's Jan 9,2013. Mind you we got a GREAT rate, but with the

ES rates showing now, what could stop someone else from booking ES then putting in for a PG rate reduction? They would have a huge OBC, & if they didn't spend it all they could pretty much cruise for free.... & Bless that reps little heart...she must have had awoke on the wrong side of the bed.

I booked a cruise (well, actually two) yesterday and the on the website the Early Saver rate was double compared to some of the other rates. I quickly called and talked to a great guy named Ted, he gave us the correct Early Saver rate and all was good in the world again.:) He couldn't really explain why the Early Saver rate was so "out of whack" but at least he was very helpful and ready to assist me. OP sorry you got a "not so nice" customer service person.:(

 

I hope they get this fixed soon, it really does throw people off.

YANKEEGIRL.....Ted is our ALL-TIME FAVORITE! He is ABSOLUTELY the best! We booked our cruise thru him. This morning just called the 800 # to see what the "real" ES rates were.
