Rare Keith1010 Posted November 1, 2012 #26 Share Posted November 1, 2012 Hampton Inn is in a safe area to walk at night. Again, as I remind everyone like any city be street smart and focus and be observant of your surroundings. Keith
miamiyogi Posted November 1, 2012 #27 Share Posted November 1, 2012 So if we stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites near Brickell that is a safe area to walk at night? Absolutely, there's a good chance you'll bump into me and not even know it. :p
miamiyogi Posted November 1, 2012 #28 Share Posted November 1, 2012 Got a recomendation to go to the Filling Station for beer and burgers . This is on the corner of 1st Av SE and 2nd St SE, about 3.5 blocks east of Bisquanye. Decent area to walk at night? Awesome funky little place with fantastic burgers. Its okay to walk there, some stretches seem a bit isolated at night, if you can...you didn't mention where you are walking from.... jump on the MetroMover and exit at Knight Station, Filling Station is Caddy Corner from that block to the Northwest. Tell them Yogi sent ya... bonus points if you find my beer mug.
janpa70 Posted November 2, 2012 #29 Share Posted November 2, 2012 We are staying at the Holiday Inn on Biscayne, is there any pizza places in the area that would deliver to the hotel? We will have driven all night so probably we won't want to go out to eat once we check in.
sflinch Posted November 11, 2012 #30 Share Posted November 11, 2012 Can anyone tell me anything about the area around Comfort Suites Airport North on Minola Drive located in Miami Springs? Is it safe to walk around? Are there any eateries nearby within walking distance, also any liquor stores in walking distance? We will be arriving early afternoon, so wil need to grab a bite to eat in the evening, and pick up some beverages for on the ship, (liquor and soda) to many of us to jump in cabs (around 16 of us). Thanks for any information in advance!

All are pretty good.
