united4life Posted October 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Does anyone has some suggestion for a nice place for dinner that is close to this hotel. Maybe a decent pub? Also any ideas for a reasonable priced breakfast in the morning Thanks!
skandls Posted October 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 29, 2012 The hotel is walking distance to a large mall. We are going to Trulucks for dinner. You can google the Galleria and look under dining for the restaurants and menus. I don't know about breakfast - we usually have a bagel or something else small. Then have lunch when we board the ship.
royalcruz Posted October 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2012 Truluck, Capital Grill, Blue Martini, PF Changs, and Seasons 52 are at the mall. Seasons and PfChangs are the most moderately priced. Blue Martini has a very limited lite fare menu, as it an upscale bar, not really a restaurant, and there is a cover charge some days/times. There is a decent Chinese restaurant Jade Palace across the street, as well as a Brazilian steakhouse called Texas. There aren't any pubs by there...if you walk down to the beach there is McSorley's Pub and Grill.

After 5:00 pm, it is $10 per person for the night. You can take the water taxi north towards Shooters (casual outdoor bar/restaurant) or south towards Beach Place, Hyatt, or towards Las Olas, where there are a number of good restaurants. It takes about 1 hour by water taxi to get to Las Olas from your stop (other stops in between). Check out the website for more info. http://www.watertaxi.com/
