JTfromGA Posted November 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2012 I am the Wedding Planner for my niece's wedding and she is looking for a yellow cocktail. At the old Past Guest Parties they served a drink I think was called a "Yellow Bird". Can anyone tell me if that is correct and more important, what is the recipe.? adamt Posted November 6, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 6, 2012 I'm not a big banana fan, but if you're looking for something ot match a yellow dress, you could always get a pinia coloda. They garnish it with pineapple.
BeeBeeCee Posted November 7, 2012 #9 Share Posted November 7, 2012 I don't like bananas...but this is my favorite drink on Carnival..it is not as sweet as most of their drinks. I had plenty of these on my last cruise :p the yellow bird :D

cruzinlisa Posted November 8, 2012 #12 Share Posted November 8, 2012 I am apparently in the minority here, because I did not like it at all. It taste like orange juice to me, which I am not a fan of. (I don't LOVE bananas either, but can tolerate them). Now you may ask why I ordered it, it was because I needed a DOD glass for a souvenier for my SIL and I wanted to make sure I got it. (of course SIL thinks I bought it in the gift shop as my in laws are anti drinking). Back on topic though- It is a pretty drink and as long as people like OJ and Bananas, they should like it. Now if she was looking for a peach/orange colored drink, I have the perfect one for you- Kiss on the Lips. MMMM
beachbum53 Posted November 8, 2012 #13 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Here's a pic if you wanted to give it to her. So, would this qualify as a "breakfast cocktail"? I'll bet it would go good with a BLT.:)
