Can I use on boards credit to pay for a drink package? Anyone done this? Thanks

You should be able to if you purchase the package on board. OBC is simply a credit on your shipboard account. Everything charged to your account is applied against it. You don't actually have any OBC until your shipboard account is established, thus you cannot purchase the drink package in advance and expect OBC to cover it.

On board credit can be used against your charges on your SeaPass account -- could be beverages, beverage packages, gratuities (if not prepaid), shore excursions, bingo, gift shop purchases, transfers, shuttles (where not free), photographs, dance lessons, spa treatments, exercise classes, hairdressing services, manicures, Persian Gardens passes, gelato, specialty dining, whatever you charge on board, OBC can be used to cover it. If you want to use OBC for casino gambling, you'll need to withdraw the cash at the casino for a 5% fee.
