Independence Disembarkation in Fort Lauderdale

We are saling the Independence in February and our cruise documents say the ship arrives in Ft. Lauderdale at 5:30am. If there are no problems with the ship clearing customs and we do self disembarkation what is the approximate earliest time we can be off the ship?

 

Typically we like to stay on the ship as long as possible but we are doing a b2b and getting on another ship the same day in port canaveral and will be anxious to get to on the road for our second cruise.

Usually by 7 you are good to go.

The last time that we sailed Independence out of Port Everglades they began letting the self assist people leave just after 7 AM. On Navigator this year it was almost 7:30. But I agree, if you plan on around 7 AM that should not be too far off of the mark.
