What adapter for Aus electrics

Hi, I had searched this question but there seem to be many differing answers. We are 1 st cruisers and would like to know what adapters to bring on The Voyager of the seas for our electrics? US to Aus or Eur to Aus.

Many thanks

This picture was taken on Navigator ( same class as the Voyager).

Use the Eur to Aus adapter. The voltage on the ship in the eur socket is 230 volts .

I am sorry, but that is backwards. The adapter you need is an Aus to European. The adapter socket side must accept the 3 pin Aus plug and the plug side should have 2 round pins.

Hi,

If you want to call it backwards, let it be.

I provided a picture of the sockets - that I took on board the Navigator ...... one socket is the eur style and provides 230 volts at 60 cycles / hertz.

The op seems to be from Australia so it will have apliances from there. The current in Australia is 240 Volts, 50 cycles.

So the voltage in the ship's eur socket is almost the same voltage just a little different cycles.

They need an adapter that will plug in the ship's eur socket and the face of the adapter has to be able to accept the aus plug.

I have a couple of these anything-to-anything adapters. I suspect you could find one on your side of the sphere...

We've got three like this, and they are the bee's knees! They're fairly small and easy to pack, and we know we've always got the right adapter for the job.
