dubybear Posted June 2, 2005 #35 Share Posted June 2, 2005 What are tender tickets -And when are they needed ?? I thought that if you were taking a tender to leave the ship it was 1st come 1st serve. If we have a mini suite are we given special treatment ? Linda & Arie NCL-Dream 11/12/
nycglitter Posted June 2, 2005 Author #36 Share Posted June 2, 2005 What are tender tickets -And when are they needed ??I thought that if you were taking a tender to leave the ship it was 1st come 1st serve. If we have a mini suite are we given special treatment ? Linda & Arie NCL-Dream 11/12/05 Tender tickets are part of an organized debarkation system NCL uses when going to the private island. NCL will remind you to stop by the cruise desk and pick up tickets, they are handed out by times, the earlier you get in line to get your tickets, the better time slot you will have to get to the island. You aren't necessarily guaranteed any special treatment in a mini suite, however, we stopped by and met Carlos the concierge (whom you have access to in a mini suite) and asked if there was any way we could get VIP tender tickets. He delivered them to our room and they were good for any tender at the time of our choice. We got off the boat bright and early and had great chairs with an umbrella right on the beach! tigerlilycruiser12 Posted June 6, 2005 #44 Share Posted June 6, 2005 This is an awefull cruise I will never travel with this line again very cheesey, very cheep never, never, never!!!!!!!! Sorry you feel this way. I would love to hear your review about what you did not like about the ship besides the weather. I have never heard such a strong negative statement about a cruise. I know there are some things on a cruise that we all may not like but....... you have a right to your opinion, but cheesey and cheap? Love to know what is cheesey and cheap? This strong statement blows me away. marie

cantwaitt Posted June 9, 2005 #46 Share Posted June 9, 2005 What do you expect from someone who doesn't even know how to spell "spaghetti?" As for the question about tender tickets, once the initial big crowd is off, you don't need tender tickets for the rest of the day. They are intended to manage crowd control. Now, if only they had (free) umbrella and chair tickets, so the people who sleep in a bit don't have to sit in the baking sun while others recline across two chairs with two umbrellas shading them from the sun. nycglitter Posted June 19, 2005 Author #47 Share Posted June 19, 2005 Despite the lame spelling of Italian food, I hope everyone enjoyed the photo's (in this post). We had a BLAST!!!!
