Carnival Paradise - Port of Tampa 12/10/12

Just returned from this cruise. A few comments to hopefully help others out.

Capital Parking was great! Quick, accommodating. Much cheaper than port parking

We took many rum runners in 2 suitcases. Nothing was taken. Traveled with a group of 18 and only 1 had anything taken. Not sure if there was something else that triggered a search. They never even opened my carry on with soda, water, juice and 2 bottles of wine.

Moby Dick stingray city tour in Grand Cayman was super!

Food was just ok. Only time I ever really went yummm was the ice cream cones, lol. It was always hot but never really that great.

Service was superior.

Thanks for your review? Do you recall what they had for nightly entertainment?

We were on a Paradise cruise just before this one...

Usual "Welcome Aboard" Show

Two well done production shows

One so-called "Talent Show" (which we never attend)

Some sort of "Fun" night with a dance class and juggling by the cruise director

They had a 2 comics on at least 3 nights. I did catch one of them (adult) and he was really funny. They had a country themed show..wasnt my cup of tea. They had some sort of trivia most every aft/eve in the casino lounge and it really was funny to watch, but I never played.

They had karaoke in the main lounge at least 2 nights. Breakdancing show (didnt see). They had a thriller dance class. Gender showdown (didnt see) newlywed game. Deck party on the night we left Cozumel.

Seems there was always something going on if you looked. Hope this helps.

Just a brief note to say that I too, did "Paradise" but in November, and considered it a GREAT cruise, with very good entertainment, outstanding food and service, and just an overall, good cruise. I don't hesitate to recommend it to most anyone. :D Far exceeded my expectations!;)
