Port Everglades Cruise Terminal Upgrades (Where's Celebrity ?)

Sounds like the set up for disembarkation in FLL, for other than the big ships is as bad or worse than as Bayonne which we have found to be the worst port ever!

 

Cruising on Silho from Bayonne last yr, Elites were sent to Tuscan to await the call of their disembarkation groups... by the time you got to the area where actaully exited from the ship there was a huge chaotic mess--not really a line to speak of..very bad..

 

We will be back on Silho very soon & are trying to decide if we will self-disembark or wait for our groups #. Can someone tell us, where on deck 2 is the way off the ship? How is it accessed (stairway, elev?)and how far a walk is that going to be from Tuscan Grill where they usually send Elites to wait ...

Tuscan Grill is all the way aft. Deck 2 debarkation is all the way forward. You will have to walk all the way forward to get to the stairs or elevators in order to disembark.

There also seem to be plenty of cabs waiting outside. At least that has been my experience in FLL.

 

We just came back on the 12th off of the Eclipse and had well over an hour wait for a cab. It was totally ridiculous. I'm just glad our flight wasn't till the afternoon.
