Texaslady22 Posted December 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2012 This is my first time cruising so please forgive any ignorance on my part. My family of 5 is booked in an Deluxe Oceanview on the Magic departing May 19, 2013. Our fare is $3,127.95 including taxes/port charges. It is Early Saver. We were hoping to get some on board credit from the fare going down but when we try to book our room now in a mock booking, it won't even let us choose a 5 passenger room! Does that mean they're sold out? What are the chances of our price going down? When should I start looking again?
Carnival_Brides Posted December 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2012 That pretty much means that anything in your category for your number of guests is sold out. I would still check from time-to-time. We weren't expecting any drops for our category, but [hopefully] got another $120/per cabin drop last night. HUBison2008 Posted December 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 22, 2012 We only got one price drop, but it was before final payment. So no OBC for us.
ray98 Posted December 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Yup....sold out. Keep checking because sometimes blocks of rooms are released.
SadieN Posted December 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2012 Also keep checking to see if a higher category is cheaper.
