Princess Transfers for Galveston

There will be four of us cruising out of Galveston on the Crown next month and I was just curious if Princess transfers were available the day before the cruise to take you to your hotel. We are staying at Hotel Galvez and trying to find an easy way to get there from the Houston Hobby airport.

Transfers are normally day of, unless you are booking the hotel through Princess, in which case check with them.

I don't think Princess offers transfers from there, but you can call, or have your TA call to find out for sure.

 

We stayed at the Hotel Galvez also. It's best just to get a taxi from there, as the distance is quite short. With 4 of you, it will definitely be your best option. Transfers are usually from the airports to the ship on the day of the cruise and if you were staying somewhere near one of the airports, then you could catch them at the airport. With staying on the island, a taxi is the best viable option for you. If you can, set it up with a taxi service the day prior. Just call a taxi service and set an appointment for the next morning. Make sure you're watching for 'your' cab to arrive so no one else grabs it.
