Upcoming casino premier cruises....

We were on a Premier Cruise last year and it was a blast. Yes, both get drink cards, and they had a few private functions for premier cruisers only, we got a plate of choc covered strawberries in our cabin one night, and another night there were a plate of cookies. Also, before we left, we were given two Carnival Beach Towels ( very nice quality).

We are booked for the 8/31 cruise on the Breeze, and we CAN'T WAIT :)

I will see the people doing the Breeze on August 31st. I just sailed the other 8 day itinerary on the Breeze and she is a good ship. I was happy to see my favorite pit boss from the Magic had transferred to that ship. Sad for me, my free balcony only came with 500, but glad to hear that the other person in the cabin gets the drink card:)

Just an FYI, new casino premier cruise offers are posted online. Dates listed here http://www.carnival.com/specials/past-guest-offers-PC1.aspx Too bad we can't make any of them. =( There's always next time

Thanks for posting,I did a mock booking and for what we book its not any cheaper than if we book on our own without the discount

You can either call the casino department to inquire about it or login your VIFP account and check under the special offers page.

I think if you're eligible you get it automatically? Last year on the Magic my MIL and FIL got invited to a cocktail party of casino VIPs and both got the drinks on us card (black) for her play. She never contacted OPC, and had $400 in cash waiting for her. I think we just happened to be on a premier cruise and she got all the perks as a premier gambler, even though she never booked through the casino rate that she knows of. And there was some serious cash getting thrown around in the casino that week, so there was something going on. She didn't find it about any of this until we got on the ship and she found the info in her cabin. One heck of a nice surprise to start your cruise off with, that's for sure!

I was referring more to the question of how to get the casino benefits if you're already booked and you find out your sailing is a premier casino sailing. In the case of my MIL, she was already booked without going through the casino and she got all the perks anyway. Still wouldn't hurt to confirm it, though.

Yeah .A thousand bucks lost gambling will not get you a fruit basket

I got a win loss statement from my last cruise. I had $1250 cash waiting for me when i got there. I never touched the cash i brought. I had a few nice spins. $800 in first hour. A $1600 jackpot a few days in. Spun the wheel for $1000. Went home with $2500 more than i took. The W/L statement said my coin in was $14,000 for the week. And my cash back for my upcoming premier went DOWN to $900. So, if you can figure out how much you need to play for a free room you're smarter than me.

I have had many $10k losses on Carnival with BS comps and cashback spend $10k get $300 your next cruise ..what a joke

We will be cruising NCL when we cruise again .I think being owned by a casino and from what I have read they treat gamblers better.I guess it suits us better

I don't think that there's a way to "get them" to send you an offer. First they have to have offers, and then you have to qualify for them... though there are plenty who slip though the cracks - myself included.

I understand that Royal Caribbean recently made connections with MGM's Mlife program to give some perks. I'm going to look into that further as I'm Platinum with Mlife (just missed Noir). I am much more hopeful with that than Carnival's connection to Venetian/Palazzo which pretty much only benefited slot players (a: I don't play at those properties, and b: I don't play slots)!

Tom

I go to Vegas once a year but won't fly to the East coast to catch RC so those incentives don't mean a thing to me. If they come west, maybe I'll try it.

Would anyone happen to know when the casino rate ends online my vacation is not approved yet so I cant pull the trigger yet and the casino rates are pretty good for what we book:)

We were going to try NCL but it seems they do not sail the caribbean in September for some reason

I booked a great casino offer. My first offer! Free Balcony cabin and 1,000 casino cash! Booked the Magic in September. Super excited.

Same offer... Just picked the Freedom in August. Paid to upgrade to a GS. Anyone else here opt for that sailing?
