Why cavetubing?

My family is going on the Dream in March with a stop in Belize. Last time we went on the Dream, we stayed on the ship & enjoyed the ship to ourselves & it was nice. My question is why cavetubing? It seems that its basically a lazy river thru a cave. Am I missing something? My kids are 12 & 11. I'm afraid they may get bored.

We went with .bz and loved it. There's a lot to see along the way and it's very informative.

Here's a complete review of our cavetubing experience. You can read it and decide if it's something you would be interested in and if it would occupy your kids enough.
