getting married Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Will I be okay if I book a 12:10 Sunday return flight home from our Ft. Lauderdale/Princess curies?
zurmolly Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 We have one booked for 11:45..Go to the pursers desk and tell them you need to be off early, and grab a taxi to the airport.
steveNcindy Posted May 31, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2004 Are you thinking of Spirit Air to Detroit? I am thinking of taking the same flight back in Jan 05 from FLL. We came back last year on a 1:10 flight from FLL to Detroit and were at the airport in FLL by 9:30am so probably lots of time depending on when your ship comes in. pbarnhorn Posted June 2, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2004 You should not have a problem at all. The airport in Ft. Lauderdale is only a $10 - $12 cab ride from pier (15 minutes max). And we have normally been off the ship before 8:30 am. I love cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale, a lot less hassels than Miami. Toto2Kansas Posted June 24, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2004 Around noon is a perfect flight time. It will cut down on your wait time for your flight and give you plenty of time for airport check in. We always try to get a flight out from 11:30 to 12:00. You won't have any problems at all. jerseygirl3 Posted July 6, 2004 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Does anybody have experience with Celebrity's debarkation process? We have booked an 11 a.m. flight out of FLL and wonder if we'll make it. The next closest flight was at 7:45 p.m., and we really didn't want to wait that long. Princess has us off the ship very quickly and efficiently. We've never cruised Celebrity before.
Boo's Mom Posted July 7, 2004 #9 Share Posted July 7, 2004 getting married..... You departure time is fine! jerseygirl....... You should also be fine. Celebrity does a good job of handling the disembarking. You'll be one of the first off of the ship...because of your flight time...just be prepared to scoot...when they open the doors! ;)
