fireflymd Posted February 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2013 In what locations on the Coral Princess can this card be used? I have already been told it can be used at the Ice Cream Bar near the Lotus Pool. Where else can this card be used? (sodas, mocktails, smoothies, shakes, etc.)
Rare 1025cruise Posted February 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Shakes can only be gotten at the ice cream location, soda can be gotten from any waiter, and I believe any bartender can get mocktails.
Loonbeam Posted February 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Pretty much correct. The card can be used everywhere you would purchase the covered item normally, except room service. Shakes can only be gotten at the ice cream location, soda can be gotten from any waiter, and I believe any bartender can get mocktails.

When you say "waiter", do you mean the waiter in the Provence and Bordeaux dining rooms, or are there waiters in other locations, such as the bars and lounge areas? Are children allowed in these "bars" or are they just lounge areas? I have never been on a Princess cruise ship and my last cruise was more than 2 decades ago, and I don't remember purchasing anything on board besides eating our meals in the main dining room. Pretty much correct. The card can be used everywhere you would purchase the covered item normally, except room service. This is what I am asking: Where would you purchase the covered item normally? Children are not allowed: a) The casino b) Skywalkers after 10 PM c) Adult only pools
fishywood Posted February 11, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Sodas and mocktails can be ordered from any beverage server or cocktail waiter/ess in any venue: lounges, bars, the Piazza, the Princess Theatre before evening performances, the horizon court and poolside. In the main dining rooms the assistant waiters usually do beverage service; if you have fixed seating dinner they will remember that you have the sticker. There are no restrictions on kids being served in any venue other than late at night in Skywalker's nightclub. (EDIT: and the Casino bar) To me the distinction between "mocktails" and "smoothies" is somewhat nebulous, but there may be certain frozen drinks only available in certain full bars. Milkshakes, as you know, are only at the ice cream stand by the pool. If you are headed for the Caribbean, the card is NOT valid on Princess Cays. Rare 1025cruise Posted February 11, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2013 In the Lido, there will be multiple people asking if you would like a drink, if you sit down in a lounge, the theater, etc, you will be asked if you want a drink. Very hard to go thirsty.

This is the first place I have read that the UKP sticker isn't valid on PC. I have read in numerous other post that the UKP sticker is accepted on PC. Now I am confused. caribill Posted February 11, 2013 #10 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Skywalker's isn't listed as an area on Coral Princess. What is Skywalker's? Not on the Coral or the Island. It is a nightclub aft and high on the ship. Look at a deckplan for the Ruby, for example.
