Cruises from Amsterdam?

I am correct in concluding that Amsterdam is convenient for transfer distance/ease from airport to city center to port? Thanks. Planning a Baltic cruise.

Very easy

You can take the train then the tram or just take a taxi to the port

 

I would plan a few days in Amsterdam if you can though ..very walkable city

Yes! You take the train from the airport to the Central Station. You can then take a bus from the station to the port or you can walk. Even with our luggage it was an easy walk.

I hope you can spend some time in Amsterdam. It's a very interesting city.

I did a Norwegian Fjord cruise last year from Amsterdam. I did a lengthy review, the first page of which is dedicated to describing leaving from Amsterdam in some detail, as this is an unfamiliar port to many. It's very simple and convenient, and a different sailaway from the city centre down a canal.

Thanks. Amsterdam just seems so much easier than any port in England plus we want to go Dutch anyways!
