racnwdow Posted February 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Just wondering how corkage fee works. Do they charge you as you walk on the ship and they see you have wine bottles? RCI only charges if you take the bottle into the MDR. Didn't know what they do on NCL.
rpb718 Posted February 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2013 $15 corkage fee for every 750ml bottle at check-in. So if you're bringing a case of wine, that's $15 per bottle - which is especially nice for those cruises longer than 5 days. I knew RCL recently started allowing wine on board - but it was only 2 bottles per cabin and they charged $25 corkage on-board but only if you had it in a dining room. Hope this helps.
