newbie ? re: booking information

Hi everyone. My name is Monica. My future husband and I are getting married Aug 17. yay! I am super excited that we will be sailing on Magic out of Galv on Sept 22. him not so much but he is willing to make me happy.. (keeping him)

 

My question is... should my booking information be in my maiden name in case paper work n stuff doesn't done or changed by our sailing or should it be made in my future married name? This is what is holding up the booking process. I haven't called carnival to book, was just planning on doing it online

Whatever name you book under, you will need to make sure your identification is in this name. I booked in maiden name since cruised right after and not enough time to get drivers license, passport etc name changed to new name.

 

If you book in married name then your id needs to have married name on it. If you book in maiden name then id needs to have maiden name on it

thank you for the quick answer. That is what I was thinking because I know I won't be able to get my passport updated in time. Not sure about my license. But I will just keep it maiden for now
