Getting closer.

Not silly at all, just very exciting! If you're anything like us when we first dressed for a formal night, we were very apprehensive in our cabin thinking maybe we'd got it all wrong and we'd be the only ones dressed up to the nines and stand out like a couple of idiots. We opened the cabin door and along the corridor came four other folk all dressed in their finery ..... we breathed a sigh of relief. Now that was silly!

Have a great time! When you leave yor cabin and look around you, especially in the dining room - you will feel very special and wonder why all these spoilsports moan about formal nights!! Thats one of the aspects of cruising that separates it from your ordinary holiday!

Precisely what's been going through our minds. Is everyone the same?

I hope you have deep pockets as this cruising lark is addictive. We went the first time on a one off never to be repeated. Now look at us.

We are hoping for a wonderful first experience after promising ourselves a cruise umpteen years ago. It has taken us a long time to get round to doing so but I'm sure we'll love it and it can't come quick enough.

We have travelled quite extensively but it was nearly always on a big silver bird. Ferry crossings over the channel and to Norway are, to date, our limited sailing experiences.

We had our first cruise last year on Azura, although we were very nervous about what we could do and not do etc we loved every minute of it. We are now looking forward to our next one on Ventura and also waiting for the new brochures to come out this month. Unfortunately we can only afford one cruise a year because we need disabled cabin swe have to book early so always have to pay the full price. Have a lovely first cruise, go with the flow and you will love it. Better start saving up for the next one.:)
