Long Beach back to LAX

Does anyone have any suggestions for transportation from the Long Beach Cruise Terminal to LAX? We have a large group, too many people and too much luggage for a cab. Are there busses or shuttles that run on a regular schedule? How much do they cost?

Super Shuttle will be outside cruise terminal. It is a 15 passanger van. We used them in May and cost $34.00 for two.

Thanks for the help. So are there shuttle companies and/or city buses just waiting at the pier and loading on a first-come basis or do you have to schedule these in advance? (Sorry, this is our first cruise.)

They load first come first serve. You can make a reservation but have to pre pay, I believe. Then you will have to wait on your assigned shuttle to pick you up. Someone on a shuttle with us had made a reservation and didn't know he had to wait for a specific shuttle. He just got on the first one he saw. It was a mess when he got off and driver wanted him to pay. They had to wait for driver to verify that they had pre paid. We didn't have a reservation and had no trouble getting a shuttle from airport or from cruise terminal. Have a great trip.:)
