EZ Check from Rome?

We have used EZ Check several times from Fort Lauderdale and love that we don't have to see our checked bags until we get home. Does the EZ Check system work from Europe? We will be leaving for home from Rome after our Greek Island tour.

No it doesn't work in Europe.

EZ Check is an agreement between the cruise line, US Customs and certain airlines. It is only for flights originating and final destinations within the US. It is also available only in a few US ports. The only exception is a cruise disembarking in a Canadian port where the nearest major airport has US Customs & Immigration before boarding your flight to the US, such as Vancouver.

 

If you are cruising in Europe or elsewhere, obviously no EZ Check available.

Thanks for the explanation of EZ Check. I thought that was going to be the case, but wanted to be sure.

That is one thing that I miss on Princess that Celebrity does not offer-EZ Check. Especially if you have a late flight.

We have used it twice from Fort Lauderdale and really liked the service. We feel that it is well worth the service fee to not have to see our checked bags again until we arrive at home.
