Are irons/boards delivered to cabins upon request or are they set up in a room somewhere? I am on the eighth floor, if they are in a (laundry) room can you please tell me where they are located? Thanks!

You will have to go down to Deck 7 to use the iron.

Empress Deck 6 - forward / across from 6102

Verandah Deck 7 - midship / across from 7267

Hours: hours posted on the door to the Laundry

Function: Self-Service Launderette

2 or 3 washers

2 or 3 dryers

1 iron and ironing board

Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener

Its a fire hazard to use them in your cabin, but at least they have them onboard for your use.

 

They for sure will not deliver them to your cabin since the walls are not fire treated like the laundry room is.

We used the one on deck 6. The iron is attached to a timer, that way nobody can leave it on by accident.

The irons are hard wired into the ship.
