Do you think the Epic's low % number on CC means anything?

You said, the cabin in both pros and cons, in your post and I think the bathroom setup is in the cabin;)

I know you and your family did like the setup and we didnt:D

My brain is asleep, and I completely missed the part about kids (on 2 different comments?). Epic is a great ship for kids. They will love the slides and anything else you can take them to. If you're willing to pay $20 for each of them, even though they can't get alcohol and I don't think you get their drink tickets for the adults, they'll probably love the ice bar. I doubt I'd choose Epic for a romantic vacation with just me and my partner, but if we're talking about a vacation with our son, she'd definitely be on the table in a few years when he's older.

I guess it all boils down to whats the most important things to you? The bathroom might not be for some but I think its great that two people can do their biz at the same time. The sink is a little small though, but since there is someone cleaning up the mess after me, its alright. The slow elevators might bother you but I couldn't care less since I used it maybe twice in the whole week. The complaint about having to walk thru the casino is hard to understand, since it is only on 1 deck and you can traverse the ship on the deck below or the many above it. What I disliked the most is the buffet which was so so (and even then I found their Indian dishes to be the BEST I've had anywhere) and not always open (same for MDR with short hours) which made it a bit inconvenient. We chose Epic over Celebrity Reflection, knowing that we're probably giving a bit away on the food in exchange for the best entertainment, and I'm a satisfied customer as it was exactly what I expected.

2 people who are very comfortable with each other can "do their biz" at the same time. Not all couples are entirely comfortable with all bodily functions. I've been with my partner for coming up on 12 years, and I had to wait for him to go to the gym each morning before I could use the facilities, if you catch my drift. I can only imagine how this would be for a couple not dating very long or for 2 friends, although I imagine the bed situation alone would prevent many friends from sailing Epic and sharing a cabin.

Yay, we just chose Epic over Reflection - for vibe, entertainment and bar choices. Combined with price (15 nights) - Am sure we will love it.

I looked at various Youtube re the toilet set up. I dont know, maybe its me but I cant see the problem.

I do like that its not a plastic curtain. Also - like my husband can shave while I am in the shower. In suites, we have a battle as the room is big enough for both of us to use the bathroom at the same time but its always a battle with me usually shouting"get out of here and give me peace" hah - I just dont see the issue. Different horse for different courses I guess..

I kinda like the contemporary cabin style. Like the mood lighting on the ceiling - We shall see..

On another note - did you mention Indian??

I LOVE Carnivals Indian buffet - is it anything like this? I ate from it virtually every day on a 14 night B2B last year! I am not usually into buffet food but Indian was worth it..

I have another cruise to take this September -Stuninng ship, beautiful suite, butler, 14 nights eastern med - BUT - yet - its the Epic next January I am excited about!! Bring it on!!:D
