Can TA still take over booking from Carnival and give discount?

Hi. It's been a few years since we sailed on Carnival. I just made a booking with Carnival to go on Freedom sailing on Aug. 24.

 

Can a TA still take over such a booking from Carnival and give discount?

You have 30 days from the day you book with CCL to transfer your booking to a TA.

 

They are not supposed to discount but many do. They are allowed to give you up to $25 worth of gifts but some give more.

 

So go for it.:)
