Victoria Whale Watching

What are some good companies for whale watching in Victoria? I really liked one company, but since the cruise line uses them, I can't book with them. Disappointing because they don't charge for toddlers, yet the cruise line does!

You are on a cruiseship, and not the "normal" 6pm arrival?

Prince of Whales offers a consistent tour, available by tour boat or zodiac. They are located right on the inner harbor, and large company with a lot of availability. Easy to get to.

Prince Of Whales is IMO the best of the whale watching trips in Victoria. Seeing as you are bringing along a toddler it may be best for you to go out in the in Ocean Magic. Most of their other ships are exposed zodiacs with no washroom facilities. They are very fast and bouncy. Think of a really rough E ticket ride. The Prince of Whales Ocean Magic is enclosed (Mostly) comfortable and much less rugged. It was built for eco-tourists. http://www.princeofwhales.com/boats/

Good luck and happy whale spotting.
