Depending upon which pier your ship uses this will require a taxi or short walk to the ferry terminal and then a 45+ minute, often rough :eek: ferry ride to PDC.

 

Unless you are touring some of the Mayan ruins (Tulum, Coba, etc.) I can't think of anything in PDC that you can't find in Coz - beaches, snorkeling, drinks, food, shopping, more drinks. :o

Back when Carnival was still cruising to PDC (Calica) we got to spend a day there and loved it. The beaches are more well groomed than those in Coz but I would think the ferry would be a hassle especially if the weather is bad which can make for rough seas.
