Are pools open when you first board?

It seems like I always tell myself I should have worn my swimsuit at embarkation, but DH says he thinks the pools don't open till we set sail...someone settle this dispute please! ;)

Pools are open as soon as you board.

I always pack everyone's swimsuit in the carry on, pools have always been open!! We want to start our vacation right away and there are always lots of pool chairs in the sun:cool:

Open as soon as you step on board so bring your bathing suit!!! you can always just check a towel our at the towel station! we always just bring our bathing suits in our carry on...next one I think we will just wear it underneath!

When we boarded the Fascination last year on two different cruises they were not open. Closed for repairs. The Breeze they were open. The year before they were closed for embarkation for repairs on the Fantasy.

 

Usually they are open but have seen them closed for repairs more than once.

Always been open for us. Bring bathing suits. And make sure you bring the sunscreen in carry-on. Learned that the hard way.

yes unless they are repairing them and they will open soon after boarding.

They've always been opened when we have boarded. DS is always ready to jump in. It's a great uncrowded day at the pool. :)
