lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #26 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Our room: Our room was just as we expected except we had no free samples and no soap! I left a note for my room steward, Heiner. We saw him in the hall that night and he said I could leave him a note anytime I needed something. The lampshade on DH's side of the bed had major stains on it (kinda gross), but other than that, perfect!

lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #28 Share Posted April 21, 2013 It was pouring after lunch, but it cleared up in time for muster. Muster was painless and we got out in time for sailaway. This was a big deal for me because I missed sailaway last time due to muster running long. I decided to find the secret deck for sailaway. I led my crew to the secret door and voila! Secret deck! Here are some sailaway pics: Balcony of a suite. Someone told me this was the captain's suite: Jenny and Lance. I was taking a picture of Jenny as she was taking a picture of me! lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #32 Share Posted April 21, 2013 We had early seating (6 p.m.). I had the grilled chicken from the everyday menu and my DH had brisket and said it was good. My chicken was a little chewy, but not bad. DH had chicken tenders for an appetizer and I had heart of iceberg lettuce. Service was slow, but I think it was because it was embarkation night. The service was much faster for the rest of the week (with the exception of the night before debarkation). Our head waitress was Luredana with assistant waitress Ni Luh and assistant waiter Bambang. I had warm chocolate melting cake for dessert and DH had orange cake.

lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #34 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Oh, I forgot to mention that I bought a sparkly funnel hat at the gift shop and a t-shirt for my DH (two for $20) and we all went to the Welcome Aboard Show. Our cruise director was Troy Linton. He seemed okay, but as the week went along I actually began to dislike him. I thought he seemed arrogant. He called he women "toots" which kinda bothered me. Catrin Posted April 21, 2013 #37 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I remember reading your last review!.... and looking forward to this review as it will re-live our Liberty cruise we took in August! I am sorry to hear about SAS and wish I had warned you previously. We are one of the very few people who will NEVER use SAS again. They left us stranded in FLL - never showed up, never answered our calls, never apoligized. We had to find transportation after waiting over an hour for them to arrive. We have traveled to Miami from FLL and back a few times since then, realizing there are many alternatives to SAS. Looking forward to the rest of your review! lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #38 Share Posted April 21, 2013 We had gorgeous weather for Half Moon Cay. Sunny, warm and a warm breeze. I have lots of photos of the Liberty here. I couldn't get enough of how she looked floating there in the turquoise waters!
lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #39 Share Posted April 21, 2013 One good thing about the double decker monstrosities is that they provided a bit of shade! If you look closely, you can see the hot tub in there:
SMSACE6 Posted April 21, 2013 #40 Share Posted April 21, 2013 thanks for your review and great photos. The photos bring back some very fond memories of my cruise on the Liberty back in 2009. Looking forward to the rest of your review.:)

lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #43 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Me! Out behind the food pavilion: The food pavilion: Menu from inside pirate bar: I had a light lunch of watermelon, honeydew, cole slaw and couscous. Everything was delicious! They also had their chocolate chip cookies there and they were even better than they are on the ship. DH thinks this is because the cookies are warmer outside. lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #46 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I bought a magnet in one of the gift shops where you can use your Sign and Sail card. DH bought a t-shirt. We waited about 10 minutes for a tender back to the ship. We went back to the ship a little after 1 p.m., so we didn't have an issue of standing in the last long line to the tenders. Once back on the ship, I did some shopping and DH did some napping. LOL!
lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #47 Share Posted April 21, 2013 I had the chicken quesadilla for an appetizer, but I didn't like it because it had black beans in it. I'm a picky eater! Chicken Sicilian style: I had WCMC again. It was cooked perfectly. Even our head waitress mentioned that it looked perfect.

lovestocruise19 Posted April 21, 2013 Author #50 Share Posted April 21, 2013 We went to the sports bar after dinner and then Jenny and I saw a half hour of Edge Presents the Evolution, a physical comedy/juggler act. It was okay. Nothing that amazing. We left early to meet the boys in the comedy club. We watched two adult comedy shows and drank A LOT. There was a shot special for four shots for $20 I think. The shots kinda tasted like my Mocha Chocolate Getaways! Then we went to the Hot and Cold Dance Club and DH actually danced (only because he was completely snockered!). LOL! One weird thing I noticed about this cruise was that there was a creaking noise in our room. I don't remember hearing that particular noise before.
