Trina4 Posted April 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2013 Hi we would like to find a hotel with long term parking for cruising out of the Brooklyn ny pier. Or some where to park with out the hotel option if we have to. Thanks :)
CruiserBruce Posted April 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2013 If you come over to the East Coast Departures board, you will find lots of info on your questions.
DonnaK Posted April 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2013 We parked right at the pier. It was very easy, safe, and close to the ship. I wouldn't do it any other way!

ombrelle Posted April 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2013 We parked right at the pier. It was very easy, safe, and close to the ship. I wouldn't do it any other way! We did the same thing and would do it again. While we were sailing, there was a huge snowstorm in New York.We worried that we would have to dig out our car! We found our car completely cleaned of snow.My husband asked and he was told that yes, they clean the snow for you. Now, that's service! On top of that, it's the safest place to leave your car with no worry. Hotels do not guarantee that your car will not be stolen!

Seago2 Posted April 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 27, 2013 We stayed at the Super 8 and parked there. Glamorous? Not so much. Every other place was booked and we were just in front of Hurricane Irene- no parking at the cruise terminal. The cruise terminal is in Flood Zone A, so it's good to have a back up plan. The hotel was clean and fine. Staff very nice. I think the rate is $159- that includes the week's parking.
