Was the beach within walking distance from the port in Nassau? We're going to the Pirate Museum and wanted to just hit a public beach for a short while before going back to the ship. And... was there places to buy drinks and stuff on the beach? Thanks for the info and glad you had such a good time.. nice to get an honest review too.

Yes it is within walking distance. Walk towards Senor Frogs. Once you get there turn left and follow the signs to Junkanoo Beach. If you go to the port of call boards there is all kinds of information on Junkanoo Beach.

 

They do serve drinks. They have specials. We got 4 beers and 4 shots for $10. A nice price break after paying $6 a beer on the ship.

My husband and I just got off the Fascination about 2 1/2 weeks ago. We had a great time in the piano bar every night. The piano guy's name is Rob and he was a lot of fun. Be sure to ask about "after Midnight" songs. He loves to get the crowd involved.
