Spa pass/bracelet

When you buy a spa pass is it a bracelet the give you, or a pass. I know my husband won't use it all the time,I will get us both passes, but when he does not use it, I would like to bring a friend....if it is a pass or bracelet, I think I could give it to my friend...anyone done this

spa passes are usually meant for just the person it is bought for and not meant to be shared...JMHO

On the Gem they put a sticker on our key card and you gave your card when you checked into the spa. Sharing the weekly pass isn't really an option.

Have your friend purchase a weekly spa pass herself on the first day of the cruise and they can then go to the spa whenever they want to instead of trying to circumvent the rules.

When I was on the Epic, only the bracelet was required. There was no check-in at the desk/scanning of your card. I was in a spa suite though, so perhaps it's different if you purchase a pass.

Why, why, why do people think it's okay to do things like this? I'll never really understand. It's not as if everybody who attempts to do this type of thing doesn't know that it's wrong. It's fairly obvious. And then they wonder why cruises are so expensive and services are cut.

On the Transatlantic sailing the "spa pass" was a sticker on your keycard.
