Question about Cruise departure times

Help please. I've only done Caribbean cruises and am curious about Alaska sail aways. Our cruise leaves at 8pm. When do they have the muster drill? Is it before or after dinner? I want to have a sail away in my cabin but I don't know if this if feasible. Any help would be great. Thanks

We did this cruise on the Diamond a couple of year ago and as I recall it was held just before dinner and a make up for those who were late arrivals later on. We did not have to participate as we were b/b passengers. I do recall dinner being a lot of confusion.
