Hi Gambee. My vocabulary is not extensive enough to come up with any new adjectives/superlatives to describe your review of the Breakaway. So I will just say that it is excellent, amazing, incredible and outstanding.

Thank you so much for this invaluable contribution to the Breakaway information base. Also, I really like the large print you used for your review; it makes reading your review even nicer for those of us who use reading glasses. :)

... They gave us each cards with all of the department head's cell phone numbers.

...

I wonder if they stopped giving out the numbers because so many people from our cruise bothered them!!! LOL!!!

I must have missed that - did they actually not give out their contact cards following your sailing?

... ...

So sorry you had such an unpleasant experience. I think if you got to the right person it would have been rectified.

...

Sad that one would have to seek out the right person in order to have problems taken care of (makes me think of people having to go to John Heald with Carnival in order for "stuff to happen" :(). It seems to me that such would be Guest Services responsibility - perhaps that's an example of poor training/staffing... Of course, I've witnessed significant weakness in Guest Services abilities on most every line we've sailed.

Sneaking looks at the review while at work. Had my boss walk by and ask what I was looking at. So I showed him and he started getting interested!

I thought I was in trouble!

Déjà ue...

I honestly had to look at the date of your comment! I think I remember someone saying the exact same thing in one of Gambee's past reviews!!!!

We had similar issues with the customer service desk on the Epic. They had one sour lady that had a lot of difficulty with English. You couldn't ask a question from anyone without them acting like you were bothering them. We had the exact opposite experience on the Jewel, they couldn't have been more helpful.

I did note this on my post cruise survey and to the HD but it fell on deaf ears.

Had the exact opposite experience on the Epic, both times I was on her. Fabulous service!

Been up since 8am working on it, please be patient. I will post once I have more, I cant believe how much more there is to write when compared to the Silli review.

We're being patient....it gives us something to look forward to! Thanks for all of your time and effort Gambee! :)

Notice the palm trees. Well after that day they rope off the that area. I will get into that later.

These two water slides really have a kick to them, you gain a lot of speed by the time you hit that last loop. They are a lot of fun :). The water is heated!

I also went ahead and bought my model ship. While it feels much lighter than my Silli model, it is much larger. These models are not in the same scale. Also don't forget to ask for your latitudes discount.

Then we walked around and I took some pictures of a few of the venues.

With the poor weather that we were dealing with, the casino was at full force!

I never ordered a drink in this cruise, but I think if I did, Shakers Martini bar would be my place!.

We never made it to the ice bar, but from talking to people I gathered a few notes. It is smaller than the Epic one, it did not feel finished. It felt much like a big freezer. Others said that the best way to enjoy it is to go with a big fun group, it will maximize your chances at having a good time. I believe you can stay there for 45 minutes, but most last about 20 minutes. We wanted to do it, but then night that we were supposed to meet our CC friends there, I completely missed their message on the phone.

And some cute fake orchid :).

Since it was time for the meet and greet we started heading that way.
