I am looking forward to a cruise on this new ship. It is not as large as the Allure but has the big ship features. :cool:

Me too, but I'm waiting for May 2015. My kids loved the Allure, so with the Quantum being a bit smaller (hopefully it measures up), but there are lots of things to do for kids on this ship, I think it will be great. Besides, haven't been to NY so that's a plus - does anyone know how far nyc is from the cruiseport?

It's just across the water. You can see the skyline and statue of liberty from the ship. (or at least I could from the Explorer)

It's like literally the next exit if you make a wrong turn to the port you head into the city (trust me I've done it lol).
