I am looking at booking one of the Vista suites at the Aft on the Grand Princess. Anybody have any preferences and why?

Thanks for your help, I have been on the Grand before but in a Mini suite on Dolphin.

Thanks again

Billy

We have been in the Dolphin Vistas several times and prefer them as the balcony is a little larger and there is no chance for noise from the Vista lounge which is below the Emerald deck VS.

You can't go wrong with either D736 or D737.

Thanks Mike they are both available. What about the beam or vent noise that I have read about?

There is a beam on one side of the balcony that does not interfere with the view and it is common up the aft of the ship.

The vent is higher like between the Caribe suites. We stayed aft on the Emerald once next to the vent and our balcony smelled of bacon 24hrs a day and there was a constant humming sound.

You can't get better than the suites on Dolphin. The balcony is so huge that we once hosted the Ultimate Balcony Dinner for 8 out there.

No problem, just want you to enjoy your cruise.

We have not had a bad experience in any of the aft suites; but on the Grand those Dolphin deck VS are the best.

Definitely right. The Dolphin deck Vista suites are great. Enjoy!

Have a great time:)

If you don't see the special menus for room service, be sure to ask your room steward. The special room service is one of the many joys of the suites.

Be sure to enjoy the scenic views from your aft facing suite.

Bon voyage :)

Have you found the aft suites on the Grand to have a lot of vibration, especially when docked in port?

There is some vibration but only when docking and leaving port. These are the stern thrusters which move the ship sideways and they operate usually for less than 5 minutes each time.

Mike,

Have you ever been on the Grand in Suite B748? Is there a vent between the PH Suites? Noise and Smell?

Thanks
