That could work, but I'm hesitant to make any specific plans until we get on board and check things out and see how schedules look. But feel free to give a call to the room or vice versa.

I apologise if this has been covered already but with evening dining I wonder if they will automatically sit Anglophones together or whether we will be mixed with Francophones and have total immersion?

Advantages to both for some people, and disadvantages for others.

And I hope the 110volt 2 prong US power outlets are still in place in cabins from when it was Celebrity, probably worth bringing adaptors if one has them.

Other question I wondered about is if the RCCI stockholder OBC is applicable on this cruise?

1. Info on Booking...there is a website for Crossiers de France..

2. Doubt if the dining seating will be by language...Perhaps people can

make a reservation or ask to be seated with Engliish/French or other.

3. Any info on excursions? I see no listing with CDF. Am interested in

some tour excursion in Gibralter..

4. English/ French speaking live in California ...cabin 4008

Has anyone traveled on CDF Horizon.....comments?

Just got off the ship a few days ago. I assume you've seen my CDF for Americans video on YouTube? It answers many of these questions and there is a separate thread on it here in the other cruise lines boards section.

1. Yes there is a website, but it's entirely in French. More info at Pullmantur's site (parent of CDF) which is in English and French.

2. We sat at a table for 2, so not sure about how they seat at larger tables. The wait staff all spoke English and menus were in English.

3. You might find excursion info on Pullmantur's website (or maybe not). In the remarks section of my YouTube video, I've linked to Caribbean tour info and pricing, but that wouldn't cover Gibralter. Let me know if you find that info and I'll add it to the remarks on the video.

4. If you speak English and French, you should be in good shape. I also did a video room review of CDF 1077, which is on YouTube, and I'll be uploading some other videos and writing a full cruise review shortly.
