Regina48 Posted June 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2013 Can someone tell me how much water and soft drinks per person is allowed to be brought on board the ship? I know that you have to carry it on and can't check it. Thanks.
shippmates Posted June 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2013 We put two 12 fridge packs of soda in a suitcase and carry on. Normally do not have an issue with this amount. We have never tried water but have seen people with a case of water.
lana281 Posted June 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2013 Carnival's beverage policy states that each guest can bring one bottle of wine or champagne (750 ml or less) and up to 12 bottles and/or cans of soda or water (20 oz. or less). You must bring the beverages in your carry-on luggage. Once you go through security you will be directed to a table where security will check each bottle. If the seal is broken or they suspect a water bottle contains something other than water, they will confiscate it. On the carnival website the beverage policy is published under frequently asked questions.
mom2girls Posted June 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Last time I cruised I put the 12 pack of soda and a 6 pack of water in a duffel bag and checked it in. It was delivered to my room without any problems.
Elmo31 Posted June 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2013 You are not suppose to check it with your luggage. You must carry it on.
