Smoking on the Breakaway

How is the truth over the top, people pick the pollutants that are convenient for themselves. They will drive bigger trucks because it's convenient yet seem to ignore the fact that bigger cars = bigger emissions in the air.

All I am saying is people are selective when it comes down to what is convenient for themselves.

Smoking isnt a convenience. I drive a jeep but I dont wrap my lips around the tail pipe.

Actually you driving a jeep is a convenience, There are plenty of mass transit options that are environmentally friendly so unless you are using an electric version of a jeep you are contributing to the pollution problem as well.

You know the same pollution cigarettes cause.

I didnt say driving a jeep wasnt a convenience. i said smoking wasnt a convenience. I dont care if you smoke all day and night. But when I have to smoke because you're smoking, I have a problem with that. Like I said, Im not crazy about the issue and if you want to smoke in your home or certain out door areas, so be it. But non-smokers should not have to inhale smoke.

Im surprised the ships allow smoking in the casino. Where Im from, smoking is banned in all indoor places including casinos and believe me, the casinos arent struggling.

But it is ok for everyone to breath in the crap that comes out of your jeep? If I go outside, I do not have a choice if you are driving by, Should they ban your car from driving down certain streets because I and others do not want to breath in your carcinogens produced by your vehicle?

You realise that is a ridiculous comparison right? You realise there are vehicle emission laws, right? You realise cancer from second hand smoke is a very serious problem that causes illness and death on a regular basis right?

I dont want to argue with you because anyone arguing in favour of smoking in 2015 is clearly out to lunch in a very serious way. No one is attacking you for being a smoker. Im sure you'd choose to quit right now if you could. You're an addict. I love Dr Pepper and it's awful for me. But I can drink a vat of Dr Pepper and it doesnt hurt everyone around me.

You're going to get flamed ofcourse, for a ridiculous comparison. :-)

They shouldnt allow smoking in the casino anymore. I think thats a no-brainer.

Maybe we should find out when your cruise is (if any) and schedule a smoke free night just for you. :D
