In Labadee - Nellie's beach how far from the Ship

How far is Nellie's Beach from the ship? Can you walk to Nellie's beach. If you have a cabana can you walk back to the ship or do you have to get a ride? Also, if you have a cabana on Nellie's beach over the water, will the cabana attendant bring you food or just drinks? Thank you.

I just used Google Earth and measured from the end of the pier to the "top" of Nellie's beach at 1750 feet. It *IS* walkable (those without cabanas and 'able bodied' get to walk it).

 

I don't think there was food available except for the buffet and our attendant showed us where that was. There was no offer to bring some to us. He did bring us drinks through. We never asked for food, so maybe there is some other than lunch?

You can take a 4 min tram ride.

It is just past barefoot beach, maybe a leisureable 12-14 min walk.
