1:50 pm flight from FLL

Any suggestions on what to do after disembarking from the Allure, beside sitting at the airport for hours? RCCL information says we can't do their shore excursions if our flight is before 2:30. It'll be DH and me and our three kids, ages 3, 6, and 8. We can survive the airport wait but we'd rather do something.

You really don't have a whole lot of time. You will want to be at the airport by noon.

 

If I were you, unless you want to disembark early and just walk around FtL and grab something to eat ...I'd just wait until the last group is asked to leave the ship and then head to the airport. Take along all your tech stuff, games and books to keep the kids busy.

 

Will you have spent time in FtL precruise? If not, I think the water taxis start around 9....oh but then you would have to deal with the issue of your bags, if you aren't sending them on ahead. Nope....I'd just head to the airport with your group.:o

I would consider getting off the ship in the last group and maybe just going to an area hotel or restaurant and having an early lunch and then getting to the airport around Noon.
